Electroplating operator

Have prior experience at plating company(s)

Takes responsibility for and runs all aspects of an electroplating production line. Accurately follow written procedures, adjust bath chemistry, and inspect raw and finished products using a variety of inspection methods and equipment. Duties include:

  • Starts, and shutdowns electroplating lines
  • Works to achieve scheduling priorities on the line
  • Tracking of key metrics to constantly drive continuous improvement
  • Work to ensure safe practices and company policies and procedures are being followed
  • Work closely with production supervisors to coordinate and schedule tasks/projects
  • Work closely with support supervisors to coordinate and schedule tasks/projects
  • Work to ensure the ongoing success of company maintenance plans and objectives
  • Work to ensure the ongoing success of company housekeeping and organization objectives
  • Reads and accurately interpret work instructions, provides feedback on issues and changes

Performs other assigned duties to achieve the goals of the department and company
