Racine-based Wisconsin Plating Works recently hired Dennis Noe as Quality Assurance Manager. He replaces Teresa Behling, who became General Manager. Noe has 20 years of experience in quality management and supervision in manufacturing, including training, developing, and executing a company-wide quality culture as part of a transition from ISO9001:2008 to the new ISO:9001:2015 guidelines. His expertise also includes lean manufacturing, cost-saving strategies, and personnel support.
Noe and Wisconsin Plating Works President Jeffrey Toeppe are not strangers. Twelve years ago, Noe worked for a manufacturer who supplied plated parts to Harley Davidson. When the coating quality declined, he contacted Toeppe. Now the two plan to grow Wisconsin Plating Works to become the premier plating company in the Midwest in five years. The first step will be meeting the quality guidelines of ISO 9001:2015 by May 2018.
Wisconsin Plating Works’ two locations, Stannard Street Plant and Carroll Street Plant, provide over 17 corrosion-resistant, decorative plating and finishing-related services for commercial and industrial applications. The family-owned business celebrates 100 years of plating in 2019.
